Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Trovr is operated by Nissan Ventures Inc., a United States company ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use trovr.ai and the Trovr app in AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, why, who we share it with, and your choices. We don't sell personal information and we don't show ads.
Browsing trovr.ai
To understand how the site is used, we keep anonymous usage statistics:
- A random identifier stored in your browser (localStorage), and a session identifier that resets after 30 idle minutes.
- What you do on the site: pages and events viewed, previews played, filters and searches used (including what you type in the search box), ticket and share clicks.
- The page that referred you, the landing page and campaign tags, and your device type (phone, tablet or computer).
We don't store your IP address and don't use cookies. If you choose "use my location" in search, your approximate coordinates are used to filter shows; they can appear in the page address, and so in the landing page we record, and are saved with your filters in your browser.
The concierge (signed in, or as a guest)
- Google sign-in: your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID. As a guest, we keep only a random key (stored hashed).
- Your conversation: the messages you send and the replies.
- What you tell it and how you react: the areas, genres, artists, venues, days and budget you mention, things you ask it to remember, and your reactions to picks (thumbs, what you listened to and for how long, ticket clicks).
We use this to recommend shows and improve the concierge. If you sign in after using it as a guest, your guest history moves to your account. Guest data is deleted after 90 days without a visit.
Trovr in Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants
When you use Trovr inside an AI assistant, the assistant sends us the search it made for you (for example dates, a genre, a place or an artist name) and the shows it picked. We use them only to answer that request. We don't receive your name, email address or conversation, and we don't store anything that identifies you. Your conversation is handled by the assistant's provider under its own privacy policy.
Who we share data with
We use these service providers to run Trovr:
- Convex, which hosts our database and servers, and Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Google: Google sign-in, and the Gemini API, which receives concierge messages, the related profile details, and search text to understand requests and match them to shows.
- Brizz, which we use to monitor the concierge's quality. It receives concierge conversations and the recommended shows, with your account ID, name and email address.
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) receives place names you type, to find their location.
Your browser also loads content directly from third parties: map tiles from OpenFreeMap, map views from Google Maps, and music previews and artwork from Apple. Those requests go straight from your browser to them, under their own policies. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account and concierge data is kept while your account exists. Guest data is deleted after 90 days without a visit. Usage statistics are kept to measure how Trovr is used over time. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Email support@trovr.ai to see, correct or delete your data, or delete your account; we'll reply within 30 days.
- Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the usage identifier.
- Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, such as to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
Trovr isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and tell signed-in users about significant changes.
